Overview

Do you remember the mission of Peace Corps to promote world peace and friendship by fulfilling these three goals?

  1. To help the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.
  2. To help promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.
  3. To help promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

By becoming a member of RPCV-Northern Michigan you can volunteer with others to continue to help your neighbors know about the world around them. Your service, no matter if a part of some of the first tours in the 1960s or one that ended abruptly in 2020, are valuable experiences to share our understanding of other countries around the globe and our responsibility to be informed and involved citizens.

By becoming a member to RPCV-Northern Michigan and/or NPCA, you will gain access to member directories, invitations to events locally and nationally, and enjoy volunteer opportunities right here in the Grand Traverse Region to keep you connected to the Peace Corps community.
